What is BOTOX^® Cosmetic?

BOTOX^® Cosmetic is a purified protein that is administered to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe wrinkles from overactive facial muscles on your forehead, crow’s feet and between your brows.

What can be expected at a BOTOX^® Cosmetic treatment?

In your initial complimentary consultation, the doctor will ask you to make facial expressions that will determine where the BOTOX^® will be administered. Tiny injections of BOTOX^® are administered at the sites of wrinkle formation that will cause the muscles to relax. The result is younger vibrant looking skin.

Yes. Though our approach is gentle, Dr. TATTOFF gives you the option of using topical anesthetic or ice. We want to take the approach that makes you feel the most comfortable during your treatment.

How long does the treatment take?

About 15 minutes.

When do you see results?

Results can take 2-7 days to take effect.

How long does BOTOX^® last?

Visible results usually last 3-4 months. Follow-up treatments around 3-6 months are recommended.

Are there limitations after treatment?

We recommend not laying down or exercising for 2-3 hours after treatment. Facial exercises are recommended for 1 hour following treatment.
